Im Dan Francis! a Game Artist and current resident of Guildford, UK.
I started my youth as a 2D character artist exclusively but as I went through University, I got inspired by new art that I have found over the years. My passion for 3D has been growing ever since, doing everything I can to feed that need to learn more and improve my skills and knowledge in the world of video game art. I have a passion for both 2D and 3D art, continually looking for ways to learn and improve my skills.
Overall, I am an artist on a journey for creation, knowledge, friendship and inspiration. I'm in this for the long haul, taking this journey each step at a time, and doing my best to improve!
Worked remotely as a freelance 2D artist on mobile titles by Nucco Brain for V2 Games as well as working on commission based projects.
The rest of my free time is used to focus on learning and improving new and existing skills to better myself for the games industry.
I was hired as a 2D Artist but due to my knowledge in audio design i was hired for that as well!

Pantheonyx is the mod team behind "Timesplitters Rewind," a remake of the popular franchinse created by Free Radical, in Cry Engine 3.
My role is was to re-imagine Character and Weapon artwork from the original games into the NextGen and manage the other artists on the team to help maintain the art style.
That involved learning Cry Engine, character and weapon LODs and fixing any technical issues and art style differences.
I worked on “Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs," the sequel to Fractional Games survival horror success "Amnesia: The Dark Decent."
Duties: Create textures from concept art and written descriptions.
I was fortunate enough to be part of the Artists Alley as this convention 2 years running. Once in April 2011 and again in May 2012 over a weekend.
It consisted of taking paid commissions from the public and other artists, they asked and i drew it for them!
Being flexible with art styles and work speed was the biggest challenge here for me but i managed to overcome that.
I Officially involved and credited in 2 Guinness World Records:
-Fastest Comic Created (contributed artwork to a comic written, drawn and printed within 12 hours, Mark Millar was one of the writers!)
-Most amount of contributing artists on one comic book.
